Like everyone else, it won't surprise you that the past year has been one of making plans, changing plans, adjusting plans, and canceling plans. Were we the only ones so impacted, we could live with that, but we aren't. Unfortunately, things seem to be changing faster than we can keep track of. Chief among them are Lodge meetings and the Inspection schedule.
We obviously resumed Lodge meetings, with appropriate cautions and procedures. Masks are preferred, and refreshments before or after the meetings have been “paused”. Although you might recall that your frequent attendance is appreciated, it is not intended that attending meetings should be done at the risk of one's health. If you feel that attending would expose you to unnecessary health risks, we understand. Be safe and we will see you when things improve. For those who choose to attend, welcome.
The second point referenced above would be Inspections. Judging from our records, which date back to 1872, Inspection procedures have been an area which has changed little over the years, if at all. That was the case until last year, when Inspections were canceled due to the pandemic. This year things are a little closer to standard, but not quite there. The comments and schedule posted below were furnished by the 15th District, and offers some insight into the adjustments.
Please note there are no meals at any inspections and only your lodge members, the District Deputy, District Education Officer and District Advisor may attend.

An earlier post referenced that during these times, any schedule was considered fluid and changeable. We wish we had trademarked that phrase.
That's what we know for now. Stay warm, stay safe, and we'll see you in Lodge.
