Welcome to Winter !!!
The calendar doesn’t reflect it, but
stepping outside to pick up the paper will fill your slippers with snow and
send a chill down your back.
Since our last post things have been
pretty hectic. We’ve had our Annual
Meeting, election of Officers for 2018-19, and Installation of those Officers. That was a good start, but there is much more
yet to come.
Already we are looking toward our
Inspection, reflected in the calendar below as being on March 2 in the EA
degree. To borrow an old reference, as
one might suspect, our operation is “inspected” to make sure it is up to snuff. Multiple reports are completed, distributed, filed,
and emailed, finances examined, and inventories adjusted. Making sure that doesn’t take forever on the
actual day of Inspection, we have a Pre-Inspection visit! Ours is scheduled for December 19th,
giving us (probably) just enough time to gather everything under one roof.
As a reminder, we are repeating the
following information:
The 15th Masonic District Grand Master’s
Reception will be considerably different for 2019. It will be held on Saturday, June 8,
2019 at the park outside of
East Liberty. It will be a cookout with
casual dress (shorts, t-shirt, sandals, etc.), and will start at 11am,
with all food and beverages provided.
Attendance is open to all members, spouses, and kids, with no cost to
attend. There will be the customary
awards presented, it will just be accomplished in a picnic setting. Closer to that date they will want an RSVP to
make sure they have sufficient supplies.
As you might suspect, we have
additional listings to report. Below is
the list as we know it at this time.
